Empower your support and sales teams with clear visibility to the right data, right when they need it. With the Zendesk and Sugar integration, your teams will be able to stay up-to-date on all relevant records whether they're working in Zendesk or SugarCRM. Created by Fanatical Labs, 2023 SugarCRM Partner Award Winner.
We found that the sugarchimp table become larger and larger, around 17.4 GiB.
As the data already sync to Zendesk, I just wonder can I delete the record in this table?
Thank you.
Happy to help. To clarify, are you using Fanatically Zen or SugarChimp? Can you send us an email with your license key so I can take a closer look? You can email us at mailchimp@fanaticallabs.com or zendesk@fanaticallabs.com.
Thanks for sending along that license key. It looks like you may have previously used SugarChimp, but that the SugarChimp license is no longer active. To resolve the table issue, you can uninstall SugarChimp and remove sugarchimp-related tables. Since you are still using Fanatically Zen, you will leave that integration the way it is.
Please let me know if you have any trouble uninstalling SugarChimp.
Thank you for the reply. I just wonder are there any Fanatically Zen documentation for developer. I would like to know more about the sync workflow and which table is related.
Thank you.
Great question. We maintain a support site (https://fanaticallabs.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/categories/360000498152-Fanatically-Zen), though it may not be as detailed as you're looking for.
The Fanatically Zen integration is pretty lightweight and doesn't have a lot of tables. When we sync from Zendesk to Sugar, we sync directly to Sugar's modules and their related tables. The fanaticalzendesk table isn't actively used- it's main purpose is to allow our integration to create a new module. We do actively use the fanaticalzendesk_queue table if you are syncing contacts from Sugar to Zendesk. Its main purpose is to house the records that are being synced to Zendesk and then when processed, the table is clear again.
We have configs in place to manage how syncing works. For example, our default config will sync Zendesk organizations, requesters, and tickets to Sugar as accounts, contacts, and cases. However, if customers want to turn off syncing contacts or sync requesters as leads instead, we would make some code changes on our end and then send the customer an updated config to put into place, which would make that syncing adjustment within their instance.
Let me know if you have other questions or if you'd like more details on how Fanatically Zen works!
