#1715 - Unexpected contacts
Hi,
I have synchronized a list of SuiteCRM with a MailChimp one, and I always get a new contact called "First Name" and another one "First Name". I have try to delete them, but each time the Suite is updated, this two new contacts are created. How can I avoid this?

Hey!
This sounds to me like there must be subscribers in MailChimp with those names. Probably the quickest way to look it up would be to find the email addresses attached to those newly created contacts in SuiteCRM. Then, search your MailChimp list that is attached to that Target List and find out if you can find a subscriber there. If there is a MailChimp subscriber there with that email address, then we've found our culprit. If there is not, then we can take some further steps to find out what is happening.
Your security and data are very important to us, so we only create new contacts for email addresses that are not already found in Sugar. Let me know what you find, and we will figure out how to handle it from there! Thanks!

Hey,
I just wanted to follow up to see if there was any updates with your syncing issues? Were you able to find the culprit or are you still getting the extra contact? Let me know what you find!

I'm going to go ahead and close this case out for now, if you are still having issues or run into anything new, you can start a new case or reply to this one! Thanks!

Hi, I don't have any contact with that name in MailChimp, and it hasn't got any email, so I can't search for it in MailChimp

Hey, If you can get me a little more information, I will take a look at it and figure out what's causing the issues. Can you go to Sugar > Admin > SugarChimp Health Status and take a screenshot of everything on that page? Towards the bottom you will see a SugarChimp Logger Level. If it is not already, please change it to “Debug”.
Then, go and delete the contact from Sugar again. From there, just wait about 10 minutes, or until the next time your scheduler runs, and then send me the Sugar Logs. To get the sugar log, go to Sugar > Admin > System Settings and click "View Log" at the bottom. Then click "All" to get all of the log file data. Copy everything that is on that page, then put it into a text file. That will help me get a little more information. Then email the screenshot and text file to support@sugarchimp.com and I’ll figure out what’s going on. Let me know if you have any more questions, Thanks!
