#1695 - Cannot Stop the Contact Sync

I have deactivated the Contact Sync but it is still syncing my contacts from Google to Sugar. Can you help me troubleshoot? Thank you!

    Hi kaitlinostler

    Please make sure under Schdulers Contact Sync scheduler is inactive

    Also please check under GSync settings Contact sync checkboxs are unchecked

    If still you feel same issue then please let us know and We shall tell you some alternative to resolve the issue.

    Yes, the scheduler is inactive and the contact sync is unchecked. I've called sugar support but they don't seem to be able to find the problem.

    As SugarCRM scheduler is not customized so this scenario is not possible. We shall advise that you re-check that you have de-activated the correct scheduler and Contact Sync from Google to Sugar is unchecked.

    I realized that the Calendar Meeting Scheduler is actually creating contacts using the invitees in the meetings. Is there a way to limit this or turn this off without turning off the meeting sync? It is adding Conference rooms and such as contacts. Thanks for your help.

    Hi,

    Invitees are part of Calendar sync and if Calendar sync is enabled then invitees will also get synced to it.

This case is public. Please leave out any sensitive information such as URLs, passwords, etc.
