#475 - Contacts disappearing since GSync in place

Hi,

After installing G-Sync, we encounter unpleasant errors:

  • contacts disappear - I mean, they really disappear, even those manually added into Sugar (and with counterparts in Google Apps)
  • e-mails get synced at random - some do, some don't at all (btw, my colleague's G-Sync setup tab doesn't show the e-mail sync option (only calendar and contacts) We run Sugar Version 6.7.5 (Build 1109) on demand.

Any solution to that?

    Hi,

    can you please let us know which version of GSync you are using? And regarding email sync , emails should sync in the batch of 100 emails in one job interval. If user is not admin then email option will not be shown to that user because in email archiving only option is to enable or disable scheduler and that is only visible to admin users only.

      Hi, it's 1.8 There's also another issue - when somebody plans a meeting and invites me to it, after I accept it, it doesn't sync - causing quite a lot of trouble to me being on the road most of the time (mobile phone calendar doesn't show this data then). As for the the contact syncing issue, we also found out GSync randomly deletes first or last names and previously added notes, tasks, meetings, calls etc. E.g. we add a new contact to an account, plan tasks, meetings etc. and a couple of days later the contact disappears, or its first or last name or any other part of the record (phone no., e-mail address), along with the notes, tasks, etc.
