    Hi,

First of all make sure that you are using correct gmail credentials and try again test connection. If still encounter this issue then we suggest to visit https://www.sugaroutfitters.com/docs/gmail-sync/troubleshooting And on this page , search "Authentication with Google failed. Reason: BadAuthentication" and follow instructions.

    Thanks, Support

What a fantastic idea to retry my credentials! I hadn't thought about that. Unfortunately, I got the same error.

There was no message in my spam folder or inbox from Google about a bad sign on. I will also mention about this problem:

      1. It occurs for all users.

      2. There was no authentication problem before I turned on the scheduler and added the scheduler to cron. The popup window showed successful authentication in this case.

    Hi,

We were just intended to make sure that you are using correct credentials and issue is on Google side. If you have or not message in spam/inbox, do try these troubleshooting steps as this message only appears when you have entered wrong credentials or Google has blocked your sign in details for specific apps.

    Thanks, Support

I think you might be on to something. When I visit the page Visit http://www.google.com/accounts/DisplayUnlockCaptcha, it tells me that I should try signing in again, and when I do that, I get a popup from GSync saying that I should enter a CAPTCHA. Unfortunately, there does not appear to be a way to do that.

When I try the process again, I am back to the original Bad Authentication error message.

It is a good thing one has 30 days to get this set up.

Here are the steps I am trying:

      1. Log out of gmail and Google Apps and sugar.
      2. Clear all history and cookie in the Google Chrome browser.
      3. Log into Google Apps.
      4. Log into Sugar CRM.
      5. Test Connection in Gsync -> Bad auth.
      6. Visit DisplayUnlockCaptcha page -> enabled.
      7. Test Connection in Gsync again -> Bad auth.
This case is public. Please leave out any sensitive information such as URLs, passwords, etc.
