#733 - disabling Google Maps

Closed General Question created by ryan.zemmer 10 years ago

I have paid for and used your Google Maps ap for months and LOVE IT. Unfortunately, we currently have Sugar 6.5 and need to upgrade to Sugar 7. Sugar CRM is telling me that i have to remove it. I have two questions. Do you have a version for Sugar 7 we can continue to use after the upgrade? Is there anyway i can keep the data we have entered into the mpas? thank you!

    Hello Katherine,

Just stepping in here. Yes, Google Maps supports Sugar 7. Once you are upgraded you can grab the Sugar 7 version for your Purchases here. Then follow the install/upgrade guide found here: https://www.sugaroutfitters.com/docs/google-salesmap/installation-guide.

Rolustech may or may not have more information to add.

    Cheers, -Jason

    Hello Katherine,

Yes! Jason is right, you just need to get the Sugar 7 Google Maps package and install it on your instance and it will work fine with you data. No special steps required after upgrade, using scheduler it will automatically pulls your records and their addresses from database to Map.

    Thanks, Rolustech Support
