install in sugarcrm worked without problems. No new additional menu shows up. Nothing happens in employees.

Can you provide the file: custom/modules/Employees/Ext/Menus/menu.ext.php
It should look like: <?php $module_menu[] = Array("index.php?module=Employees&action=orgchart", $mod_strings['LBL_ORGCHART'],"Employees");
