hi jason,
if i assign a contact to a security-group, the documents "under" this contact will not auto-assigned to this security-group.
is this possible?

I'm not sure how I missed your case. I am so sorry!
It isn't possible to do this if the document already exists. You would manually have to do it. For new documents though the group will be inherited by the contact based on your SecuritySuite Settings.
