#1185 - Security groups not checking roles for users

If i add a role to a group (not users). Security is not applied to users under or associated to that role. If i add a user to a security group than security is applied.

    It'll apply the greatest rights from all roles either directly assigned to the user or to the groups that the user is assigned to. You can verify if it is working by going to the User record and clicking on the Access tab to see the role grid. You'll also see the roles in the subpanel below that are directly assigned to the user and then the groups in a separate subpanel.

    If you are still seeing something odd then check your SecuritySuite Settings. It may be the Strict Rights that are making it act differently than expected.
