#1316 - Multilevel Hierarchy?
I am trying to setup a multilevel hierarchy per your instructions in case #467. However I'm not getting the results I am expecting. If you refer to the earlier case, it seems that no matter what I try the activity (task, call) for the user G (highest level user) displays for the second level user C. Like the previous case, I would like user G to be able to view all of the activity for all users, but I don't want any users to be able to view the activity for user G. I am testing this functionality in SuiteCRM using the preconfigured VM from Bitnami--in case that makes a difference. Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Greg,
Have you taken a look at this example yet? https://www.sugaroutfitters.com/docs/securitysuite/example-of-a-typical-setup
The key there for User G is to mark the relationship as "Not Inheritable" so that when G creates a Call it doesn't inherit the team that both G and C are on. This way C doesn't see the call since the rights are probably set to List->Group, View->Group for C.
Hope this helps! -Jason

Thank you for your response. Yes I have read that example and to my knowledge I have things configure correctly—including the Not Inheritable checkbox for that user. Would it be possible for me to send you (email?) some screenshots of my setup? Maybe you would notice where my error lies.
