Control what your users can access and save time, money, and frustrations. Lock down sensitive data in SugarCRM or SuiteCRM to specific groups or teams. Supports unlimited assigned users, unlimited group assignments to records, custom layouts for each group, login/sudo capabilities and much more.
During the installation of SecuritySuite (done via Admin->Module Loader) you will be prompted for the license key. You can also do this by going to Admin, scrolling down to the SecuritySuite section, and clicking on License Configuration. Once on that page just paste in your key and click on "Validate".
Sorry for the confusion. The version with SuiteCRM is the free version. The one you started a trial for here is a more powerful version and you would just install it on top of the one that is included in SuiteCRM.
Just following up to see if you have been able to install SecuritySuite into your SuiteCRM instance and enter the license key yet. Let me know if you have any questions.

So although a version comes with SuiteCRM, I should install a fresh one on top of it?

Ok, is this tested/compatible with the latest non-beta version of SuiteCRM?

Yes, the latest version of SuiteCRM is based on 6.5.20 so just grab that version to install. Many SuiteCRM users actively using it.
