#1860 - Security Group : Mass Assign Option does not show up
Hi,
Thanks for your support. The earlier bug has been resolved. Now there is a new issue. When we select the Accounts or Contacts Tab, we are unable to see the Security Group : Mass Assign in the bottom. However when we select one acccount or contact, we are able to see the "Security Group" and are able to individually assign the account/contact ? How to enable Mass Assign in the Accounts/Contacts tabs ? Or is it a bug ?

Is it there when you are logged in as an admin? If so, then it's a permissions issue that needs to be tweaked in roles.
Otherwise, try running a Quick Repair & Rebuild and a Repair Relationships. The Mass Assign is there by default on new installs. Which version of SugarCRM or SuiteCRM are you on?

Your other suppose case reminded me of the file permission issue that you faced. If the repairs do not work then you may need to reinstall SecuritySuite and then run a Quick Repair & Rebuild/Rebuild Relationships. If the file permissions are truly fixed then this should work.

Hi I did Quick Repair & rebuild. Now i am getting the previous error. Warning! SecuritySuite no longer matches the version of Sugar that you are running. SecuritySuite will not work correctly until updated to 6.5.22. Upgrade now to SecuritySuite for 6.5.22 I am running 6.5.22 Build 1055. Not sure if i can uninstall and reinstall. Is there a simpler way ?

Sounds like you have some file permission issues on your server still. It's looking to see if the following is in config_override.php and it can't find it. The installer adds this to the file during install:
What concerns me is that the file permissions may have prevented other files from being copied and deployed correctly. That needs to be addressed for your server or this will happen upon future Quick Repair & Rebuilds or other future module installs.
The default_permissions configuration in your config.php determines how newly created files get created and may need tweaking for your environment: http://support.sugarcrm.com/Knowledge_Base/Administration/Platform_Management/Setting_Default_File_Permissions_and_Ownership_Via_config.php/
