Control what your users can access and save time, money, and frustrations. Lock down sensitive data in SugarCRM or SuiteCRM to specific groups or teams. Supports unlimited assigned users, unlimited group assignments to records, custom layouts for each group, login/sudo capabilities and much more.
SugarCRM/SuiteCRM comes with both Studio and Module Builder for designing modules. Once you get your base module deployed the first thing to do is to hook it up with SecuritySuite. Go to Admin->SecuritySuite->Hookup Tool and run it for your newly deployed module. This will set up the relationships correctly. Do not use Studio to create this relationship with the Security Groups module. It will not work correctly.)
Then to create custom layouts (different input templates) go to Studio, open the module in the folder outline on the left, then click on the Layouts folder. You can now copy an existing layout over to a group. After saving Studio will refresh and when you go back to the Layouts folder you will see a folder for each group under it. The Default folder is for the original layout.
