#2655 - SecuritySuite is no longer active
Hey.. 2 issues with SecuritySuite license.
Currently there is an error for SecuritySuite. SecuritySuite is no longer active Please renew your subscription or check your license configuration. We tried re-validating the License but it keeps on Validating without actually doing it.
Further we had purchased "SecuritySuite - SugarCRM CE Teams" on 13/10/2016 but we were not successful in installing the same with functionality. Can we have compatible version of SecuritySuite for SuiteCRM 7.5.3. We have downloaded SuiteCRM_7.5.3_SecuritySuite_Full-Edition_v2.9.3b.zip but it does not seems to be compatible.

I just verified that your subscription is good. However, the last validation was on 17/10/2016. This tells me that your instance either can't connect to sugaroutfitters.com or does not have php_curl installed. The latter may be the case if it is a new server since 17/10. Once you get that connection working again the validation will begin to work again.
The 7.5.3 version looks to be working for other installs. What are you running into that makes you think it is not compatible? Are you getting an error message about compatibility?

When we tried (earlier) to create a security group, it gave us error Fatal error: Call to undefined method SecurityGroup::unformat_all_fields() in /var/www/html/include/MVC/Controller/SugarController.php on line 544
Could you please provide us the Compatible version for "SecuritySuite for SuiteCRM 7.5.3"?

I heard of this happening only once before and it was on 7.5.3 as well. There is either a bug in SuiteCRM in 7.5.3 or it is a permissions issue because unformat_all_fields is a defined method in the parent SugarBean class that it extends from. No SecuritySuite version touches this specific error and certainly isn't modified between each release.
I believe it is a 7.5.3 specific bug which can only be solved by updating SuiteCRM to a more recent version.

Just found a similar case where the solution was to increase the PHP memory limit. That would be a nice and easy one to address.

Please check your server/network configurations and ensure that it can connect to sugaroutfitters.com. Also make sure that php_curl is installed. Your server could connect to sugaroutfitters.com at one point, but some recent change with your server or network has caused it not to connect since 17/20/2016.
Once you get that connection working again the validation will begin to work again.

Just checking in. It looks like your server still cannot connect to sugaroutfitters.com to validate the license. Have you checked your network's firewall rules to ensure it can connect yet? There was likely a network changed that caused it to stop validating the license.

It will be sugaroutfitters.com on port 443.

We are able to telnet the required port root@crm-uat:/home/duser# telnet sugaroutfitters.com 443 Trying 104.130.124.191... Connected to sugaroutfitters.com. Escape character is '^]'.

Is there anything that could have changed since after October 17th? A new server for your CRM? Network changes?

Hi,
There is no change in our Network. We are able to telnet sugaroutfitters.com 443 PHP_Curl is installed Memory Limit is set to 512 MB and lastly when we hit validate and try to check /var/www/html/suitecrm.log it does not show anything.
Kindly help us to resolve this at earliest.

By the way can you let us know if the License Key mentioned under Purchases is correct one.
We have installed SuiteCRM Version 7.5.3 Sugar Version 6.5.23 (Build 1061) and we are trying to validate SecurityGroups - Full Edition Module - Version 2.9.3b Downloaded package "SuiteCRM_7.5.3_SecuritySuite_Full-Edition_v2.9.3b.zip"
Do let us know if we are doing the right thing. Or do we have to download any other package
