#368 - Not Inheritable

Closed Bug? created by mehrshid 10 years ago

Hi I checked Not Inheritable in Users subpanel and group itself both, But when i create a new account for example this record is automatically assigned to MyCustomCecurityGroup. I needs to be able to view a group's activity but the group shouldn't see the my activites and other users not attached to this group.

Under Security Suite Settings->Default Groups for New Records do you have MyCustomCecurityGroup set to be auto assigned for any new account?

Once again, I cannot replicate this on a fresh 6.5.13 instance with just SecuritySuite installed. Perhaps there were permission issues on the server when SecuritySuite got installed. For help with permissions I recommend:

      Whew. Glad it was!

If you don't want it to be added by default to accounts, yes. That's the whole purpose of that setting. That will always override any inheritance options.
