#374 - no link to account (parent type) in calls, meetings, tasks - just text

Open Bug? created by kir 10 years ago

Hi, Jason! SecuritySuite 6.5.15, CE Default group settings. Role directly assigned to user. Role for Accounts - listview - all, detailview - Assigned user, Calls - listview - all, detailview - all. When see listview for Accounts - work OK (link to Account works), but on the Call's listview (also on dashlet for Calls) - can't see Account as link - just text field. Contact link - OK. If change role: listview - Assigned user, DetailView - all, - I CAN see Account as link. Any fix for this case?

Do you see the same issue on a blank 6.5.15 install without SecuritySuite installed? If so, I'd suggest submitting a bug to SugarCRM. That seems to be a core SugarCRM issue with how they determine rights on the dashlet.

I will check it, but the issue is not only for dashlet but for listview of calls, meetings and tasks too.

Is the user assigned directly to the account? If not, that is why the link doesn't show on list view. The link only shows if the user has Detail View rights for the account. If the user's group is assigned to the account, but not the user, and you want the user to see the detail view then you need to set permissions to Detail View = Group. Make sure to log out/in after making any changes when logged in as that user.

User is directly assigned to the Account.
