#407 - Can't relate asol_Reports with SecuritySuite

Closed Bug? created by DesislavaTomova 10 years ago

Hello,

I tried to relate SecuritySuite with asol_Reports, but I received an error message Ajax failure Unexpected error: Module could not be related. Please view your logs. I checked the log, but there are no errors there. After Quick Repair and Rebuild I can see the relation in studio, also I see SecuritySuite drop-down in the reports module, but when I try to assign some report, the pop-up says "Are you sure you want to update the 0 selected record(s)?" Can you help me with that issue?

I'm completely unfamiliar with asol_Reports, but did you try doing this via the Hookup Tool in SecuritySuite or by hand/Studio? If by Studio, relationships created via Studio just don't get created correctly for SecuritySuite. It has to be done a very particular way which is what the Hookup Tool is for in the Full Edition.

Yes I used the Hookup Tool. I tested on 3 servers and it is always the same problem.

Try disabling Ajax UI for the Reports module. You can do that under Admin->System Settings->Configure AJAX User Interface: http://support.sugarcrm.com/02_Documentation/01_Sugar_Editions/05_Sugar_Community_Edition/Sugar_Community_Edition_6.5/Administration_Guide/05_System

I think the system has disabled it itself. It's disabled.

OK, I would recommend reaching out to the folks who created the Reports module. It is very likely that they have done this already and will be able to help you out.

Just following up to see you were able to get asol_Reports working with SecuritySuite. Closing this case for now as it seems to be an issue with the other module needing to add support for it.

This case is public. Please leave out any sensitive information such as URLs, passwords, etc.
