#785 - Problem with Security Suite Full Edition on a SuiteCRM istance
i installed again the last version of the security suite for sugarcrm 6.17 I have problems because when i insert a record like a call or a meeting i get a white scree. I checked all the permissions and everything is a 775. Also I'm not able to insert calls or meetings from the calendar in home page.

Hello Jose,
Try running a Repair Roles and then a Quick Repair and Rebuild. These are found under Admin->Repair. Some installs aren't running some of these commands like they should be during installation of SecuritySuite. I believe I have the issue fixed going forward.
If you still have issues then it may be unrelated and may be default permissions which is different than the file permissions. Sugar has a configurable default_permissions in config.php that is tells the server how to create any new files that get generated which happens constantly. Your file permissions may not get applied on those new files that get created on the fly. More info on that can be found here: http://support.sugarcrm.com/04_Find_Answers/02KB/02Administration/100Install/Setting_File_Permissions_and_Ownership_in_config.php/

I noticed on a different support case that you've recently upgraded to SuiteCRM. Make sure to reinstall SecuritySuite as the upgrade will overwrite key SecuritySuite files.

thank you for following up. I finally fixed the problem. I tried what you suggested but no solution with that. So I decided to uninstall the module and to update the sugarcrm to from 6.5.17 to 6.5.18. After that I installed the version 6.5.18 of your security team. It still wasn’t working so I decided to update also the suite crm from 7.1.3 to 7.1.4. It finally worked. Before getting to this solution I tried a different order in the process of update, uninstall, installation etc but it didn’t work. The solution worked only in the order that I described

Thanks for following up! I can see that being the case here. I'm pretty sure if you are on SuiteCRM you have to use their upgrades and not Sugar's anymore.

I used Sugar update to be able to upgrade the securitySuite CRM if not I was not able.
