Setting up Azure Resources
To use the plugin, a Communication Services resource must be created in the Azur Admin Center. You can find instructions for this here. From this resource, you will need the Connection String, which will be entered into SugarCRM later.
Additionally, an App Registration must be created with the following permissions:
- Teams.ManageCalls
- Teams.ManageChats
Instructions on how to create the app can be found here. The following parameters are required from the app:
- Application (client) ID
- Directory (tenant) ID
Setting up a Teams Server
- Log in as an admin, navigate to the Admin area, and click on " Connector Settings" within the "MS Teams Plugin Settings" section. Click "Create" to add a new entry.
- Enter Name, Server URL, Yearly Token, License Token. You should have recieved this information from us.
- Next, enter the Client ID, Tenant ID, and Connection string. You generated this information in step 1.
- Save the record. In the Users subpanel, you now have the option to link the users for whom the plugin should be enabled.
