#1588 - Features not working as advertised
I have created various roles and have added users to them but the desired functionality is not taking effect. Users are unable to see records assigned to a particular security group. Also for some odd reason these non-admin users are getting an option to change the security group they're in.

Make sure that the groups are also assigned to the records and that the users' roles are set to Group level access. You can review a single user's setup by going to their user record and clicking on the Access tab. For the non-admin issue, is this happening when you use the "login as" feature? I haven't heard of this happening, but users can add/remove groups from records. That can be disabled by editing the role and setting less permissive rights for the Security Grouos module.
