SecuritySuite - SuiteCRM and CE Teams

Hello, I have a bit of an odd issue. Originally we were using Security Suite to make different views for different roles in our company. Now we need to also use for group permissions. We have a team with a security group for the sales people and one for the 2 managers of that team. However now the managers also need to be a member of the sales team's view for group permissions. Is there a way to force one of the groups to be the layout for certain users? When I added the managers to the sales view their list, detail, and edit views were correct but the Advanced search options were of the sales team. Was thinking setting the notinheritable in the securitygroups_users table = 1 for the view I don't want that user to have? Thanks a lot.
