#686 - Hiding "Activities" and "History" subpanel

Closed General Question created by Foreningen Nydansker Verified Purchase 10 years ago

Hi

I'm wondering if it's possible to hide the "Activities" and "History" subpanels? We've disabled all access to every module but the contacts module, so they can't view the actual tasks (in our case) but by seeing the subpanels, they can see certain details that we would like to hide. Any ideas on how this can be done?

And thanks for an awesoeme module, it gives so many possibilities, that we can'r do without!

I'm not sure how this case slipped by me and I apologize!

Activities/History subpanels are very odd in SugarCRM. You would need to do some custom coding to remove them from the layoutdefs for the Contacts module.

Thanks for the reply! Sorry to hear that it is a difficult thing to do. I guess we'll have to organize ourselves around the issue (shouldn't be too much of a problem). I was on a long vacation by the way, so sorry for late reply ;P.
